A reminder of the Saskatchewan Women’s Institutes Annual General Meeting in Fort Qu’appelle this weekend.

This amazing organization has been providing education and an opportunity for women to meet and have some fun for over 100 years! (See http://www.fwic.ca)

If you can’t attend the whole conference, consider driving out to the banquet on Friday. (Please RSVP by Wed or Thurs am at the latest to (306) 332-6751. )

Thanks to everyone who attended our AGM in person or through Skype. It was fun to connect with the participants over the Internet and gain new ideas and perspectives!

Individual women and representatives of women’s organizations are invited to our AGM on May 12 in Regina, with a presentation about women’s rights and the UN, a roundtable about current women’s groups’ activities in the province and a film.

WIN-S has just completed a successful year where we established a website, sent out our first newsletter and conducted a province-wide on-line webinar for International Women’s Day.

We invite you to attend all or part of our AGM meeting in person in Regina. For those who are unable to attend in person, we are hoping to be able to connect via Skype though the computer. We would love to meet with other groups and individuals interested in women’s issues.
